Sneak Peak at the Finished Product

Spring is here… Time to finish up!

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog. We took a few months off after moving in. We needed it. But now we’re practically done with the inside of the house (pics to come when I can get everything straightened up). We finished touch up paint, had the kitchen hood built & painted and had a mantle for the TV room built and stained. It is beautiful!!! If anyone needs custom woodwork, I would definitely recommend Bobby Kubik.

We had a little run-in with our insurance company, which forced us to do some major overhauling on the exterior of the house. In the long run, it was good because it forced us to get the house painted and tuckpointed, but at the time we were pretty upset that an insurance company would just cancel your homeowner’s insurance without any discussion or much notification. Anyhow, the exterior trim and windows are almost finished with a new paint job. We are really happy with the color choice!
